• Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

Then I would assume they might join up on cafe husky. It would be good if the negative comments were removed.

I can do it, but really would rather have the author do it.

LOL

They are people's legitimate concerns from people that have actually done business with them. Instead of an armchair dealer review.

i find it quite helpfull to know that they arent the most personable dealer, and others might as well.

Good day to all. Marty Halmazna here. Proud to be a new member of this forum and super pumped to be apart of the Canadian Factory Husky Team (FP Husqvarna/Zip-Ty Racing Canada). Yes there will be at least 2 more dealers in Alberta. Well thats what I'm being told. BowRidge Sports(Cochrane) is working on something and A&E in Brooks. Hoping it can be worked out soon.

I will pass on tons of info here for people to read about how and what setups we are doing to bikes. Hope it helps. Also I will be and have been writing alot of articles for MXP mag. So I will be pushing the lineup there too. Again Hello to all.

Cool Marty! I was watching some of your videos on youtube pretty awesome. ;)

Well there where alot more but Sony music contacted us and made us remove a munch. Royalties i guess. if you have over 30,000 views it must raise a red flag somewhere.

A question for all of you. I can't decide on either a wr 300 or a TXC 510. I love the big bores ,but usually a large bike overheats alot? Also i found out that the differance between a 450 and 510 is stroke only? Thats different.

I have been told that OUTBACK MX will be a Husky dealer for 2010.

I'm glad they're still a dealer, they are a small shop but they will go above and beyond to help. Isn't that a typical trait of most Husky dealers?

Outback is the new errr old dealer, they have 2010's in stock right now!

great people to deal with, if you interested you can get a hell of a deal on a 2009 smr510 right now!
