• Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

So, I was looking up a part and found the entire accessory catalog on the new Husky parts system. No prices or anyway to order them yet, but I assume they are working on it.
I am still trying to decide if we should drive the 15 hours (10 if I drive) to LA for a one day Husky school. I really want the factory training and if it was a 3 day school, I would not hesitate. I have never done a one day school and left with a whole day of knowledge. You can usually only expect about 3 or 4 hours and the rest is usually waiting around and BSing.

Tell us more about those big tanks? size? manufacture? color? work with stock side panels?

I think they were testing a new part of the dealer site while I was looking for a manual. I can not get back to the catalog. The tank was for a TXC and was 13.5 liters. Sorry, I did not see a 6 gallon rally tank for a 610.

From the Austrailian Husqy website...

Rated 13.5 liters/3.57 US gal. It looks like an IMS to me...what do you think? :excuseme:

To hell with the Tank..tell me more about the Cams..I would LOVE a warmer cam for my 610. anywhere from warmer to much warmer is good...Hope they come to OZ cause our dollar has taken a beating in the last couple days. :(

most of the HOT stuff is about 3-4 weeks i was told, and yeah the $$ sucks, i can buy a tank locally for only $3.00 more than getting it from the US, a month or 2 ago would have saved about 120 easy

Hotter cams would throw me on my ass even faster. Any details on these tanks for my 08 TE-510.

I ride with a budy that has a Husaberg and I am lucky tho get 33 mpg, this sob is getting close to 45

Who in the US has them
How much
Are they IMS
will they accept the factory plastic
If they are actually 3.5g over the IMS 3.0 I would be interested.

Greetings from Depressed Detroit

After going to the site for a Looksee...I find that most of the gear is for the Li' uns...I ride a 610, the only thing for it was a pipe @ $1700.00 AUS $'s...for that much coin, it can stay the hell where it is.So, nothing much for the TE610's STILL.! SUX!

That's good news. I emailed Aqualine a month ago asking if they planned on making a tank for the '08~ EFI TE 450/510's. Never heard back from them. :snore:

It`s still on the whiteboard & still only a "thought"
No decision has been made by them yet.
