Did anyone catch this? I was installing my cam and sprocket following the manuals instructions carefully. (I had downloaded a service manual here as well) I set the cam timing using the sprocket to cam mounting bolts horizontal to the head as instructed, with the piston on TDC compression stroke (which hasn't been assigned until the cam is installed) I kept looking at the position of the lobs and cycling it over and over thinking this is wrong. I pulled it apart again for the third time knowing both lobs need to be in the down position at TDC compression stroke. I had noticed one dot on the sprocket but the manual didn't mention it at all. I started looking for other documentation to verify the cam position. I looked at an '00 manual that showed sprocket markings in the position I know it needs to be in, and that the engine is considerably different than the 95. If you put it where the manual says The piston will be on a Down stroke as the exhaust valve opens. that is so messed up
