• Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

Cafe Member on LAMC website.........

Looks like a well organized group of riders there ... And they give $ away? They seem to have their heads on straight also ...

"But Robert, who is the guy with the Virgin Mary sleeveless shirt? Now thats a statement..."
Tommy B, Virgen de Guadalupe. Our core crew member that finished 2nd 40A behind Ty Davis at the Tecate HS last year on his well dialed 450XCF-W street legal/race bike. He will race a YZ144 from now on......founding member of our new mini 2T crew (but thats another whole story).

For Ray, read the title, it was a benefit ride for the Cruz Roja (local ambulance service that covers races down there) y Jacumbe Kids school (educated folks contribute and rarely crash the border.....)

Yep ..sometimes it's just a good idea to help others in any way you can help ... Its good for both sides in most cases ...

This is the mantra of that club, over 50 years of cross border relations and help and support with local biz, schools, red cross, local ranchers, land owners, etc etc . It helps the local economy and creates good relationships to allow for rides and races to take place down there. Example this years Tecate Enduro will be close to 100 miles, thats alot of private land to use.

What a great video man. That was some real fun looking stuff to ride. That club has it's mission right on the money. Take care of people and people will take care of you.

23 months to go and I can retire from the Rail Road business if I want and I hope I can ride stuff like this.
