• Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

Bring on the Great Outdoors!

I'm staying with RD5 as the favorite but defending champ KR94 has had lots more time testing on his new SUZ MX bike ... He was hurt and missed seat time but he should have had plenty of healing time and resting ... They pretty much abandoned the SX season for this MX stuff .. ET3 is gonna stick it in there somewhere.

Anyone who raced the entire SX season has not had alot of time off ... Kdub has stated before he could not run a full outdoors season later in his career ... CR22 has had the same issue in the past and did not finish a few MX seasons ...

Not sure on TC41 .. He's rested but not sure if he has had any testing time... No testing time and he'll have to hang at the start of season and get his bike as he likes it and then his freshness could push him to the front ~MID season maybe ... He was pretty much a stud at the tail of the last MX racing if I remember correct and do you remember the MC racing?

Myself, I'm down with the Husqvarna branded bike riders, Anderson & Poursel ... Good luck to all riders.

Is this racing bet on in Vegas? Seems a lot easier to handicap than most other sports... Crashes seem like the most unknown element ...

Yep on Dungee ... He has almost never had a bad race ... He won championship(s) as a rookie and been winning ever since ... There were a few yrs when his bike looked slow in certain sections and he could still win on it ... RV2 was his nemesis ... That's as bad, not as deadly, as the hyenas nemesis being the lion.

Good luck out there and go to the pits with your camera loaded with free memory space .. :)
