Brake caliper relocation bracket..

So..
I'm doing a supermoto conversion of my TE 610, have bought some wheels of a xr650r..
Haven't fitted them yet, but they seems to hook up fine..

I would like to use the 320mm rotor that came with the wheels, but I can't seem to find a
relocation bracket anywhere..

Anyone has an idea where I can get one?
Haven't find anything on ebay and have tried to google it..

Edit: Have found a couple of alternatives but for model year 2000, still kick start only..
Will this fit?

Hi tugge, you can buy an OEM bracket from a 2001 SMR 570. They still had the 45 Marzocchi forks (depending on if you already have USD forks!).

That one would not fit..
I have a conventional marzocchi fork..

Well, since I could'nt find any, I built my own bracket..
Not the most blingy but I think it will do the job just fine

Not sure having the large spacers in there is a good idea...?!

okey.. Why's that?
Have not ridden the bike yet, but I'm pretty sure I have seen this type of spacers before..

It feels pretty solid and the caliper is bolted with 12.9 bolts..

The spacers is machined from T6 airplane grade aluminium, and the i.d is 8.5mm and o.d. is 18mm..

I'm not sure that I would trust those spacers in a high-load braking situation. Generally, brake caliper relocation brackets are machined with a "step" so that they are 1 solid piece and still accurately position the caliper.

I still think this will be strong enough, will definitely test the setup first and take it apart and look if there is some unusual wear..


Edit: Should also mention that this setup is not for racing, only street riding

I wouldn't be worried about "unusual wear," I'd be worried about complete failure resulting in a crash.

If you don't have access to a machine shop to make a "normal" bracket, try bolting 2 plates together to get the offset part you need. That would be far more structurally sound than the standoffs.

They were not worried about this setup..
So for now I will stick with this

They sell those EBC kits on ebay, I have emailed several sellers and no one can deliver the bracket only..
And powersportrider don't do user end selling..

Years ago I got a SM setup off ebay and it came with a funky thick front rotor and home made caliper bracket that looked like it was for a huge caliper. I had a Tucker Rockey source order me the EBC kit and it worked great on my '95.

I have some of the husky caliper relocation brackets. I know they are for the 45mm marz forks and the brembo calipers.

Powerwheelie, Do you know what's the distance between the bolts that goes to the caliper on that SMR570 bracket?

I have a 2007 TE610 that I'm converting to SM. I'm keeping the caliper and just on the look for a bracket.
