• Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

braaaaap! World Finals / Husky 1-2-5 Challenge.....

I was feeling the same as you after my visit to the local national standard mx track - wanting to get into racing or at least practice racing - AFTER NEARLY 30 YEARS SINCE THE LAST RACE!
Unfortunately the wife isnt so keen after seeing me come off at a track a year ago and break my arm
She basically said no chance buster.:( Not sure what to do there.
Its a big commitment - getting fit - getting time to " ride more" . Getting faster without coming off too much.
Holding on to the big girl for 5 laps will be the challenge - thats why you may wish you still had the 125! ( what was its name?)
Its a pity you didnt have the wr125 - it would have been good to see you have that drag with Ajax - finally !
Good luck with it doood!

Trigger! not sure if it was the bike me or both...this thing was fast as hell for a 125. why'd i sell it!!! :banghead:

yeh, thought of that old sled a lot yesterday...well, Ajax's got a hopped up 300. mines stock. so there's still a chance for that race. GH is the place for that too...that start is epic.

Porky's a cream puff. it'll be a hoot to slog round the track on it.

and mind the wifey mate! above all else! braaap!
