• Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

Borcs Baja Xc Race Near Tecate Bc Mx 18feb2012

Just got off the fone with the owner of Veys Motorsports one of the US sponsors. He has ridden the course, he commented on 9 miles of S/T with big terrain variations in that section, including some ugly stream bed rock sections, which will most likely be hooked into and added to their MX/XC open track area. He mentioned that the Mexican club loves extreme enduro and tough stuff!!! yee haaa slow, tough and technical my fave!! 310 will be great for that stuff!! plus I have a 50+ class! all classes have podiums and trophies 1-2-3 keep it together and bring home some hardware for the shop!! And DONT bend my dang brake pedal AGAIN!!!
should be fun and epic with moist dirt conditions under clear skies by saturday morn 1000 start 2 hour XC race.

ready to go, just got replenished with RynoPower Carb mix and some other RynoPower supps, to keep my race face on for 2 hours. Yee ha

REPRESENTIN****************************************!! P1 50+ open, 1st race 1st place on the TE310. The course was tough and technical, lots of elevation changes, steep rocky descents, steep rocky and loamy up hills, rocky stream beds NO DUST!!! In field ribboned twisty section fun, ugly rock bottle neck for some folks sections FUN. 310 is an amzing platform. bike moves around so well whille threading lines and when we hit the short dirt road connector sections the thing just flat tracks under full power in controlled slides up and down hills and into and out of corners. Epic conditions @15 mile loops, got lapped by Ivan Ramirez Red Bull KTM and second place pro Prieto Hon CRF450 very near the end of the 3rd loop and ended the day with 3 solid laps, very pleased. R
Our crew Cyril (FRA) P3 30+, Dave (UK) P1 40+, Rob(USA) P1 50+

Congrats on such a killer ride. The tough and tight ride trophies always feel great...even better when plated. Good Job!

results official after watching the viddy, us old old guys really did well, Cyril 30+P3 last off his line! Dave stalled at start 40+P1 last off at start 10th OA, me last off 50+P1 start 11th OA we passed alot of guys on earlier starting rows. Happy with my consistant 2&3 lap times within 5 secs, 1st lap was loaded with hang ups/traffic in the rough spots and cost alot of time.
I think our crew needs to work on our starts****************************************
Podium dance? Michael Schumacher style? Rossi style?

latest results news, Dai the Welshman gets bumped up to 9thOA and me to 10thOA Jordan's #230 bike broke and he cut course to get back to pits.
He blew a rad hose on his CRF450 field repaired it peed in the rad and worked back to the pits (one of those fun racing stories) woo hoo top 10 OA............

Nice one Rob**************************************** Congrats buddy...Man, looked like a lot of clutching/overheating CRF's and non hacker single track guys out there. Would have been a good race to do. Would have been up there with ya maybe. Hopefully by end of year, on the TXC 310 (You know which one)!!!
