• Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

...A left turn! The Brand XX Racing/VETMotorsports/AMSOIL powered by Bill's Motorcycles Plus and 7602 Racing TC450DTX made its debut at the season opener of the Salem Indoor Speedway's 2015-2016 winter season tonight. After a wild practice session and a heat race win, we were looking at a win in the main until getting caught up in a downed rider on the third lap. We were able to restart and take the last seven laps to get to third place. Not what we wanted, but that's racing, and we have a few more things to do for our tune-up for next time.

Nice Jon! Wish we had more parts to send your way for that beast. I do have one left turn signal here I can send over. Post up some video if you have it.

Nov 29 (JonXX Birthday Practice Party at the Speedway)

Hey Jon, what's this JonXX Birthday party thingy? Cake & ice cream or beer & the Monster girls?
If I'm going to drive down to Salem...

Because I had it, because it fits me, and because it's a badass bike that outpulls almost everything else it's been up against.

Thats what I figured. The TXC 510 still has one of the most amazing motors I have tried. That and the 570 Berg are crazy fun.

Race number two in the books, and we brought in a win :)

Might be something in the water down there.
Remember Diane Cox from Salem?

I just ran across a Castle Rock TT National Championship program from 1977 ( the old track). Her qualifying time was very respectable at less than a second behind Springsteen Nat#1 and Kenny Roberts Nat#2, Gary Scott Nat#5 and a bunch of other famous guys. Sadly I didn't write down how her racing went that night.
I remember speaking with her numerous times in the pits and her making the main many times at Sidewinders ..
Always rooted for her.

I need to get down and check out your indoor racing!
