• Hi everyone,

    As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

    When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

    Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

    Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

    Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Great, I just paid a lot of $$$$$ for the order that I sent to Husky Sport. I guess thats what I get for being so impatient.

Can't wait for my flip flops though. :applause:
 
Need a tech bulletin with this kind of info.

Where to order it? What all is available? Costs?

Right now this is more like a rumor. Need some more info. :)

And while we are at it:
What ever happened to the hardparts catalogue from europe? Any info on that for us wayward red headed step children from the new world?:excuseme:
 
There is no tech bulletin.

The usa dealers now have a link available to order bling. I'm sure more info will be forthcoming but if you contact your dealer they should now be able to sell the bling.

I'm trying my very best.... I think people here know that.
 
I'll call my dealer tomorrow and see if he has heard anything...May I ask where or who you heard this from???
 
Husky getting heavily into merchandising? Maybe they are taking a page out of the KISS franchise. How long before I can get my Husky lunchbox?:D

I talked to Fran Bottone today and he said a lot of the stuff is already out of stock...... Dan must have cornered the market!:confused:

This is a flashback of my teen years when Patty Dole teased :banana::awww: the hell outta me and numereous other boys. If only a pair of flip flops would have satisfied my boyhood urges life would have been so much different.

I've got some off the wall ideas to make things better for the Husky riders... too embarrassed to say more than that cause they probably sound quite silly.
