• Husqvarna Motorcycles Made In Sweden - About 1988 and older

  • Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

That"s the bike but he also rode a silver tank bike with black letters and a falk number plate rear fender .and motorcross action also did a write up on it also , Thanks Ron

Thats a pre 82 1/2 works 500 for sure. The "10 fins of fury" say it is all 500 and not a PC 470!
Also got the 83 style frame. Notice the tighter angle of the 2 frame pieces that come up from the footpeg area. angle was much wider on 82 bikes.

Joe

Joe close tank is right it had the 83 frame like the blue tank bike in the other picture but silver tank like in your picture , hard to find pictures of Billys Huskys

Providing you know the dimensions, we can re-pop those easy enough.

Art, my wife is pretty good with apps that can be used to re-create this sort of stuff. I'm going to ask her to take a shot at a replica image that can be printed and test fitted to my side panels and if it looks good, I will send it to you for duplication.

Adam- as long as they're Adobe Illustrator .ai or .eps files were good.
We also have the Husky Products logo in vector file format.

Okay, I will get you the dimensions. I would like them just like pictured with husky logo at top "husky products" name at bottom with black pin stripe on periphery and in reasonably close match to the yellow color pictured.

Did anyone else notice how the shock swingarm mounting bolts are redrilled close up the swingarm for
more travel. I'm going print this picture & scale it, to back engineer the shock length & distance
they moved it up .
