• Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

Bike Stands and Jacks

DRC HC2. Was between this and the Rhino Stand. This was just less expensive. Works well though and has a safety latch. Damper doesn't do much except control rebound ;-)

I've got a HF lift table, HF step-up stand, HF solid steel stand, and then 2 more step-up stands, MSR & Moose I think. The lift table gets used the most. The PitPosse scissor jack thing has caught my attention, would make it nice at the races to do stuff..... And all bought on sale:banana:

Combination of a simple bike stand and a pneumatic lift really makes life easier.
My knees really appreciate it!

too much clutter to take a good pic, but you get the idea.
Yellow Lift was from Princess Auto

Black bike stand is generic from a bike shop.

The harbor freight one is great too. It gets a wide enough grip on the frame that you done need it perfectly balanced. Definitely a good maintenance stand.

Matrix Concepts M2 Worx Stand.

When I bought it the girl at the parts counter said they had them in orange also. She know's darn well I have a Husky. One more reason to buy from Bill's.

Seems like each type has it's advantage, but the black and red roll around is very versitle for most things except oil changes. I have two of the table lifts that probably get used the most and also can be used as a parking space or rolled under the bench to make more floor space. The lever action lift/stands are great too and can be used on the table lifts for the best of both worlds.

I have a table lift as well. Love it. Very sturdy. Can climb onto the bike as well.
