• Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

Nick Was FAST! Nick or Justin lapped my son towards the of the end team race! I was glad to see your team racing and get 3rd in the team race! My Two sons raced the Team Race but the Honda 250R DIED short of the Check point and Running into pits and switching wrist bands the Judges did not appreciate much! Need to say that lap did not count in the end :banghead: A+ for effort! If they had finished properly they would have had 7th place in the Team race. Not bad for two young Kids having fun! Best part My Son did not break my 511 :applause: He was not happy with my DOT Ties in the team race! Overshot a turn and slide over the the cliff down into the trees he went. Interesting GOPRO Video! Next day we put new tires on the 511 for his Novice HWT race. Congratulation to Nick and team for a great weekend!

Quick Post update.
Great Weekend at the race. Small amount rain help keep the dust down, track was very nice. The TE511 RAN great. Suspension still needs some fine adjusting in my mind. I am no Expert! so... I have to talk to precision concepts about my questions. Dillion was happy with the Suspension . I raced the 40+ Novice, only my second race in two years. Finished 12 in class, 22 out of I believe was 100+ Riders in our race. Have to work on the Physical endurance issues  Was nice fun ride took it easy made it work today!

My son Pro Circuit Head pipe was smashed for his 450R, so nice Dad I am let him try the 511 out this weekend! Team race was interesting. His first Race on the 511 ever with only maybe 2 hours of total ride time and with DOT tires (D608). A few threats from dad to not blow up my bike, he raced well. Pulled some good lap times for a Novice HWT rider. Small amount of endo-cross riding after the missing a turn sliding off cliff in the team race ended up in a sage bush. His HWT Novice race the next day with new tires he ran much faster. Brings the question about the Traction control system. How does this really work and effect the power? My son was complaining he could not get enough speed to clear the step up jump. Like the bike was not pulling hard and was bogging. New tires seem solved that problem.

He finished 1st in class and 2nd overall in the 450 HWT Novice. Great race even with a BAD start. He Had fun passing people.

Some Photos of my son on dads TE511. NO photo of me, I was not that brave! :oldman:
