• Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

Beta 125RR

Upon rereading there's no mention of oil injection
I read somewhere to keep weight down...adds one pound...and with it being dellorto I would not want it. Reading about more pump failures lately.... Not to mention oil injection delete kits on back order...honestly beta should include the delete kit on all oil injected bikes...I think the 12 ounce oil bottle probably chokes off air flow anyways....

I think it's great to have a serious competitor among the tiddlers. As for a general Beta comment, they are far too visually "busy" for me. I like a cleaner look. Yes, I'm that shallow.

.
I'm with you!! They remind me as being cartoonist looking where a husky looks professional grade... I still like em! Would like to see in mold graphics...decals are way old school today... There was rumor and I read somewhere a couple years ago the race editions were going to get in mold graphics but never did...

It's called sano, not shallow and that's how I like it too. Just about all the new bikes are too busy for me.

Ive thought long & hard about buying one to do the enduro series on & keep the Husky for training but the $13000 NZ they want for it is just a bit to much, ive decided to pick up a 2013 cr125 with around 20-50 hrs on it for around $3000 & spend a couple on grand on it to convert it to suit me (lower the front, 18"rear, rekluse, fmf & wallybean 165) also will mean its almost identical to what i have so i will have spares if ever needed when im at a meet.

My 2013 feels lighter and more nimble than the couple of older models I test rode. Dialing in the suspension is key of course. Ergo wise it's a bit small for me, but hoping 1" taller seat will help. WB165 kit is just the icing on the cake
Now if Beta make a 150/175 or 200! on that tiddler platform it will be very difficult to resist.
Here's another clip, no more info just a good look and great soundtrack:

Hmmm. 125's make a great video, so two make an even better one. But...
Riding an 18 150xcw and loving it, but sure wouldn't go any smaller for play riding or for the hills we have.

Still hoping Husky makes good on S.P.'s promise to get back to their roots... can you say "175?" I think you can.
