The Bear Creek Sportsmen have asked me to put on a riding school the Friday before the Quarry Run Dual Sport in Hancock, NY and I am excited for the opportunity.
For those who don't know me, I am a 2 time ISDE silver medalist, one of them was on a Husky. I also finished 2nd in the AA class in the East Coast Enduro Series for 2009. For 2010 I am racing a 2010 TE250
And for those who don't know about the Quarry Run Dual Sport you are missing out. It is definitely the best 2 day ride on the east coast and probably the country, for more info on the dual sport you can visit www.bearcreeksportsmen.com
I will be holding 2 classes on Friday August 6th, 2010
One starting at 8am and ending at 12pm.
The second will start at 1pm and end at 5pm.
There is a 15 rider limit per class.
The school will be held about 5 minutes away from the Fireman's field (Main parking for the dual sport) on top of Coonhill Rd. The same site of the 2006 Word Enduro and all of the Bear Creek Sportsmen events.
All skill levels are welcome, even kids on mini bikes with a clutch. All riders must be proficient with clutch use.
I will be teaching techniques on balance, acceleration, braking, and cornering. As well as some more advanced techniques.
The cost of the school is $50 per rider.
For more information please contact me
I will try to check this thread for questions, the best way is to contact me direct though.
Thanks,
Ben Smith
