  • Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

Bazzaz Map For TE511

Freekman

Husqvarna
AA Class
I looked around and couldn't find anything, but does anybody have a map they like for the 511 with and fmf slip on or similar. The stock one is good, but I still have some flameouts in low rpm. Considering tuning on my center stand lol

What made you decide on the Bazzaz? Just removed a JD tuner, after 6 rides might be a bad unit I sent it back to be looked at. The flameouts suck! I wondered about the bazzaz, but if your still having issues I won't go there. Looks like PC V with autotune might be the only fix? With the welding ALMOST $600  . My new fmf 4.1 has a nice dent in it from a flame out so It's costing me one way or the other. Hope someone gets you a map that helps, good luck!

I'm not sure how the throttle positions and rpms compare with the PCV, but maybe you could create a map based on the PCV maps Tinken posted by interpolating as necessary.

Also curious how you decided on the Bazzaz.

I have heard that bazzaz is an all around better system on other bikes especially with the auto tune set up they have. Also the bazzaz is slightly cheaper. I also have a problem with over researching things and making sure I am getting the best even if it is slightly better. I also haven't really ridden it yet. It just stalled on start a couple of times. This was sort of a hasty post, but I just assumed it wouldn't stall ever anymore.

We played with the Bazzaz system on our race bikes, but abandoned the system due to unreliability in the harnesses and added weight. The race support was much better with DynoJet and the system was much simpler. Because of this, the pcv was the system we decided to go with.
