  • Hi everyone,

    As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

    When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

    Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

    Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

    Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

well my fully insured 09 ktm 300 was lifted today. sigh long story but could have been really screwed. they could have stolen my buddys 300 that im looking after. so wr300 here i come. who has the rock bottom prices on these things? i really want a 300. anyone got leftover 09's and is there any difference between the 09 and 2010 250's or 300's thanks and aloha
 
i do not like my local/ only husqvarna dealer. they are also the ktm dealer for my island and they don not bring in the husqvarna smokers because they make more money hustling ktm's. sure he will bring one in for me but im gonna pay full pop plus some. so i rather my money go to someone who loves the brand and supports it. thank coffee i sent tri county and email already.
 
On a side note, I've been in a couple of sailboat races going from San Francisco to Kaneohe a couple of times. Nice place you got there. :)
 
Try Sage Motorsports in Terreton, ID. I just got a screaming deal on a leftover '09 300. Call Chris there at 208-681-9162. Awesome folks, great shop!

Man it seems you would find it in Hawaii, they are kinda cornered on land mass and ride areas no? i bet you see it again. Put the word out local.

Word has been put out and I know alot of people. The problem us that offroad bikes here are not reg'ed so if it shows up it will be dumb luck. I'm just glad they didn't break into my garage and take the other 8 bikes. That would be a seriously bad day
 
Maybe I can find a nice used one too. Must be willing to ship. It's really easy. I might have to go the used route. Shipping is gonna tack on a grand and 6k is my budget

my dad has crewed in the transpac a few times. Do you know any of the folks from santa cruz yacht club?


for the OP, that sucks, but it's convenient that your insured bike was stolen right when you were considering buying a new one anyway.

Yo thanks Pvduke!! Talking to Paul at tricounty right now about a 250. Hard to pass up that deal**************************************** Might get a 250 and slap a 3honey kit on it.
