• Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

Are the Huskybucks flowing still?

Just wondering if people are still receiving contingency payments. I understand people were getting a t-shirt upon registering.....I got a reply from Jenna Parker at the end of March telling me I still needed to send in a tax form (I did in May), but I never received a t-shirt or any confirmation that they received it, and I haven't received any Huskybucks or been contacted regarding my registration for the program or requests for contingency.

Has the program gone black? How long is it taking for people to get Bucks after submitting a claim? Thanks! MM

It doesn't seem as fast as last year, now for the
T-shirt & other goodies we didn't get either not
That i realy care,i think they are very busy with
that big swap, they moved the parts warehouse
From pennsylvania(BMW)to Ohio(ktm)
Jenna told me that she is not allowed to accept
Results from fax like last year so more complicated
for Her, we received some huskybucks and we
Move from B class to A this year and the bucks
Were going to be more and now we found out
that now the A is paying less than last year B rate
After i bought a 2012 last fall for 2,500$ more
than a 13 they were going to pay 125% for the 13
Now the 14 model willl appear in november just
6 months after the others factory
I wonder if they will show a bike with empty cases?
I don't think huskybuck are here to stay.

Yes, I got mine. The always pleasant Jenna P is still managing the program.
I received Husky $ on 14 JUN from an event on 1 JUN.

Ive been getting my contingency money pretty quickly and got the t-shirt and stuff as well.

I got a nice reply from Jenna saying I am good to go. Still haven't seen any bucks but I guess I'm just impatient, two weeks seems to be the time it takes. Thanks guys!
