• Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

Anyone supermoto-ing a wr?!

With wr's being road legal has anyone tossed a set of motard wheels on them and terrorized the towns?

Seems like it could be a blast even if its not the most practical. A oversized tank and maybe a fender mounted spare fuel tank for longer rides so as to not worry with mixing fuel could be the ticket. With new wr300's for around 5k Im thinking hard about it! I can already imagine the trouble ill be in, lectron carb, pc pipe, shaved head, porting, sm wheels I will be going through back tires much more often than fronts I can tell you that. Wheelie city!

A little searching turned up these two photos. Looks incredible. Actually it looks like I may be allergic to that bike, Ill break out in handcuffs im almost positive of it!

I originally had my motard wheels on my TE310R. I would find myself pulling a wheelie up the street leaving work every day. Now they are on my 630, I act a little bit more civil...just a little. Still a hooligan bike and I expect to end up with a few tickets.

The new cr125's are going so cheap I have thought about this a bit. Would be a awesome beater/track bike. Superlightweight and underpowered, PERFECT for building some skillz :)

They were on the bike when I bought it - lucky me - Warp 9's. Rob (previous owner) got them from the states.

also looking for a set for a 2013 WR125 but not sure if my brembo calipers and discs will fit on the wheels from any SM 125
