• Hi everyone,

    As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

    When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

    Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

    Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

    Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

I might be interested. Going out Saturday night and taking a break from riding hard (been racing for like 5 weeks straight), but a short easy ride might be nice.
 
Well, I got the timing belt finished on my truck, and I am DD tonight (wife's Birthday), so I shouldn't be in too rough shape in the morning. Unless I end up out super late or something, I am hoping to meet you guys at Atsion at 9.
 
Sounds good, I'll be there. There's usually another group of guys there that set out the same time so we can maybe go with them or just head out on our own. Sometimes too big of a group is not so much fun
 
I'll be doing something on Cebu, just not sure what ... Maybe a ride over to the ECO Park and see the water falls ....

Hello ksm9mm, have you been to lost trails this year yet? wondering how the trails are doing if they made any improvements? Haven't been there lately, last time was 2 seasons ago. Thinking of going back there with my son, we went together the last time I was there, he is on a 50

Hey Jimmy, I have not been there for 2 years. i've heard that they were working on trails non stop, but they will be rocky. kids area is ok.. How old is your son?
 
I am so used to rocks, lol but the trails were pretty beat up from all the quads, my son is 8 and can hold his own his does pretty well so maybe we will try it again this summer. Thx for getting back to me -Jim
