• Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

Anyone know the true weight of a late model WR 250 and a 2011 or new style Gas Gas 250-300??? DRY

Just curious anyone know the TRUE weight of say a 2012 Gas Gas 250-300 without fuel or electric start and of a Husky late model WR 250???? I know the old Husky's were about 235 dry?? But hec and old wr 125 was like 222 dry!! What about a 150 Husky.....?? I'm getting old and this all matters. Thanks

Steve Beane a MI dealer weighed his 2012 GG 300 on a certified scale and it weighed 260 lbs even. It had 3/4 tank of fuel, rad. braces, flex bars, Rekluse cover, FW pegs, etc.. The GG bikes carry their weight low so they "feel" lighter to me when you are riding them. My my 2010 GG 300 was heavier by guessing 30lbs over my 2008 WB165 but it never really bothered me once in motion.

Comparable, but less bottom end. It definitely doesn't have much over rev, I forgot to shift up a few times and it would start to sign off. As I said on GG Forum... I wish I had brought the 165 to ride back to back. I'm going to ride it today, while the 200 is fresh in my mind.

Huh. Really looking for a true dry weight with a bike out of the crate with no gas or aftermarket stuff. If possible.

I have had both, they weigh the same, 255 ready to ride. Gasgas has estart with Shorai battery. Gasgas rides alot lighter but it the fast open it is not as stable as the WR
