  • Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

Anyone here with a 570?

Been really wanting one. Would even consider trading my 06 530rr for one. I don't know much about them, but it seems like they are In between a 610 and a 510 on all aspects.

I had what is considered the best of that bunch, the 02 TE570. Was a freaking beast of a bike. Very fast and beastly. Vibrated a lot but I did not care every time I whacked the throttle. LOTS of power. That year they trimmed 2.5 pounds off the crank and had hotter cams etc. It was a rocket.

Well if you had to describe it in terms of 450,510,610,530 how would you put it. For example reliability of a 610 with power of a 530. Ect ect

Like a slimmed down powered up 610. A lean FAST 610. Make more torque than a 510 but revs slower. Old school brute power but a lot of it. Vibrates like crazy.

Wow that is clean. Worth whatever you will pay for it. Rare and clean but also semi unknown and not highly sought after by most (except those of us who know about them). You might snipe it. Keep an eye on the counter at the bottom but subtract some for us on CH looking because of this thread.

That is the base motor they used for my Eddy Seel Replica i have --they also put a spacer between at the bottom of the barrel and lengthened the stroke --insane and a keeper --634 SMR

I still do it greets me in my lounge where it stands with a 2007 510 TE still new and not ridden --Thank's
Need a house guest? Haha just kidding. I saw those pics years ago. Most beautiful and race husqvarna I have ever seen. Pure art. But seriously what time is dinner? Might take me a minute to get there. Hawaii is at least a 15 minute drive over. Lol

Well guys I have decided to pass. 1. I can't afford it 2. I'm not quite done with my RR 3. I just started my husqvarna street tracker.

Someone here needs to give it a good home. Someone that will take care of it and keep it perfect! The reserve is stupid low. I got more money in my last rebuild than he wants for the bike. 1825.00
