    As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

    When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

    Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

    Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

    Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Hello, I have shop manual for 86 model four storke air cooled. I also have 86 Parts manual. Provide e-mail and I can scan to you. If it will help you, I have 87 parts manual.

Hall's has a CD that has a lot of old manuals on it. I took the time to list them and will say that it lists 87-88 4T, 87 Owner's and 87 Workshop Manual on the list. I can't say whether your specific bike is on there but it's $10 for the CD. Call them.

The CD has manuals (of some sort, owner, shop, parts) from 83-93 mostly and the 76-77 Auto also.

I'm sorry if I steal the thread by asking for workshop manuals for CR 500 -83, WR 500 -84 and the old WR 390 -79.

We are all happy that you find the forum usefull and surprising!

Anyone that has workshop manuals, please PM me, I'll give you my e-mail and if possible send me a pdf file of the manual..... it may take some work and time on your part to get me the pdf's off of the old office copier/scanner but you have to do something productive at work anyways .....right???:D:D:D
