Any Tire Opinions out there for mostly street some dirt use

I picked up a set of super moto wheels from Motostrano for my 09 TE 450. Been trying to decide on a set of tires. Motostrano swears by the Continental Conti Force for street use. But I may be hitting some dirt roads at times. They also recommend the Avon Distanzia for light dirt use. I looked online and found several other possible tires.

Continental ContiForce SM Tire - looks like all street, but made for lighter SM bikes

Avon Distanzia - SM Tire looks like 90% street /10% dirt

IRC GP-110 - Dual Sport tire

Shinko 705 - Dual Sport

Kenda K761 - Dual Sport

Metzler Tourance - Adventure Touring

Michelin Anakee 2 - Adventure Touring

The Pirelli Scorpion A/T 90s work really well for mostly street while still having enough tread that dirt roads are still lots of fun. On the street they stick really well and don't move around much at all, you'd hardly know you weren't on pure street rubber.

Ive used and liked the Kenda 270 for adventure type riding. Much more dirt though if your thinking super moto.

Conti-force are good for sm, I have them on my te610 that's in sm trim most of time (motostrano wheels). I've done some dirt roading and they're ok, but not ideal. If I was riding dirt roads more, I'd have something different. I've not used any other tires on my sm wheels so can't comment, but I would probably try out the Scorpion or Distanzia. If you're just doing the occasional dirt road, the contis are damn good on the street and will get by on the limited dirt.

I've got the Continental SM tires on my SM510. They are very good street tires IMO. On gravel they are as bad as any sportbike tire, which is not good for traction but fun. In mud they are also as bad as any sportbike tire, which is horrible and not fun at all.

For gravel roads I wouldn't bother getting a more dirt-oriented tire. Low traction is actually quite fun and I seek out gravel roads to ride on. For more serious off-road use, lots of supermoto riders swear by the Scorpion Syncs or Avon Distanzas. Supposedly they do pretty well in everything but mud yet still offer great traction on the street.

Don't forget about the Pirelli MT60. They absolutely rock on pavement, especially if it's wet, and they performed admirably in dry dirt. They stick like a trials tire in rocks and can handle creek crossings like nobody's business. They would be the perfect tire if they weren't so expensive. The longevity isn't great either, but man when they're good they're really good
