• Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

Any more 630 news as yet?

I think they did a very small run of 630s already. Husky is trying to fly one over for the Toronto Bike Show next week.

So they are going to have to really hurry to make mid Dec. :D

In truth, the wording I picked that up from was the dealer said, "call me in the middle of Dec."....meaning he'd have a better answer.

And yes, I want a SMR 630.

The bikes from Milan are in UK currently and as we've been advised that the TE630 and one SMS630 may have to leave early for Canada I don't think there are any more show ready ones yet! I'll pre fit the Cafe Husky stickers before they go :-)

I double dog dare you! :D

Wouldn't it be funny if the 2010 630 showed up at your local dealer, looking just like the 2009 610, which was supposed to be different than the 2008 610?

Will it at least have the clickers on the bottom of the forks?

I'm working the show Friday night. < OFTR > The first stop is going to be the husky booth. It would be nice to see that TE630.

Bring your camera and take some close up photos showing various parts/components of the bike that have not been displayed by current promoters.

I don't even know when that show is, when is it?

Those shows seem a bit $ for manufacturers to go to. I certainly have no inside information.
