  • Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

Are there any other 2010 TXC 250 owners out there (probably TE and TC 250 and 310, along with the 2011's?) interested in a set of hoses like these? I saw these at the Indy Dealer show and was impressed with them and the price compared to the CV4 hoses. I can't find where CV4 makes them for the bike either. I emailed him and he said he needs at least 3 pre orders to make the kit.

The website could use some work, but here it is:

Here's a link from Western Powersports:

Email him at info@motohose.com if you're interested. I am not affiliated with this company at all, I just want a set of hoses for my bike... Especially if he makes them in blue!

Hi Matt. Are you the gentleman I spoke with the other day who suggested I check Husky Cafe out?

www.MotoHose.com is our site.

Moto Hose kits include more than just the radiator hoses like others sell. On carburetor models We include Colored Silicone Radiator Hoses and the colored carb vent hoses, gas line, gas cap and Radiator overflow hoses. On FI models Moto Hose kits include the Colored Silicone Radiator Hoses and the gas cap and Radiator overflow hoses.........Moto Hose kits include more colored hoses and are more economically priced than our competition.

What we need to make this happen:

Enough interest to have 3 kits pre-sold. Price will be determined when I can see what the hose set up looks like and basic measurements.
Sample set of hoses to make molds to.
Note: This is not a quick process.....it takes 2-4 months before we have the final product in our hands.

My buddy designed the logo for the Motohose product. He said they are a bunch of great people! I already have CV4 hoses on my TXC 250, but would love to buy a set for my husband's 09 TXC 450.

FYI - Lumpy790 is set up as a temporary sponsor, so if anyone has any interest at all now would be the time to speak up.

Hi Matt. Are you the gentleman I spoke with the other day who suggested I check Husky Cafe out?

Yep, that was me. I also talked to you at Indy at the Western booth, but I doubt that you would remember, I bet you talked to hundreds of people.

I just put a set of your hoses on my daughters Honda CRF150r. They fit perfectly! She can't wait for our season to start so she can show off her new red hoses.

I am definitily in for a set on a 2010 TXC 250. The timeframe of months is ok with me, I can wait. Also, sorry for not putting the correct site link.

Lumpy, I talked with you a while back(early summer) about sending a set of hoses out to you for the 10 TE and the TXC 250 set ups.. My bad as I see them sitting in my shop yet.. Give me a addy and I'll get them out to you.. Time on returning them is not important..
Chow, Carl

I'm interested as well. x-lite engine plumbing looks to be a bit unique from previous years (09 and below). Let me know how much they cost in red or black.

I would be interested in a set as well, would prefer black but if you only had red I would still buy.

Lumpy, I've got a 09 TXC250 that I would be interested in getting some blue hoses for.

Sorry I have been slammed with business and preparing and attempting (fail) to qualify for Loretta Lynns at the Gainsville FL Gatorback regional.

It sounds like there may be enough interest to at least do a small 1st run in RED. Once I have a sample set of the hoses I can calculate a price and get the ball rolling.

Great thank you for the link I will look into it.

Carl is sending 2 different sets of the 250 hoses.

Question..... On models with a thermostat...... make exact replacements or 1 piece hoses without the thermostat?
