  • Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

250-500cc Any good aftermarket clutch perch and lever to fit huskys

I was wondering if anyone has any good experiences with a good aftermarket clutch perch setup on the wr 250's or 300's? Nobody list them for the wr's that I can see. I'm sure one could work that's made for another brand possibly. Thanks

just curious as to you don't like the stock one?
it's a Domino, I tried others and have to say these are a good choice

+1 for the domi's. man it's nice to have a star flicker at the end of a clutch smokin' 15 min. climb!

Anybody know if Tusk or Motion Pro make a wr300 clutch lever? I've seen clutch levers for the TE250. Are these TE levers compatible for a 2012 wr300. Can't find a wr300 clutch lever anywhere.

google it there's tons of them...

back in the day we'd swap em all out for Honda CR perches and levers...

ASV clutch lever/perches fit most anything I think. I took my ASV clutch off the KX250 I sold and put it on my WR, I did end up having a shorter cable made by Motion Pro for it.

stock.ihave tested most and they all have less than 26mm plus throw you need for your husky. most copy hondas specs at 25 . yamaha 24 etc. causes clutch problems.
