• Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

Antoine Meo Success Story

PS a little dig for those who complain about off idle stumbles in the F.I.,,, the system (entire X-Lite package) was engineered to run like this......

I love how he's railing a special and still waves to the fans.

Some serious TE(TC) 250/310 viewing at the pinnacle of Enduro sport

Great vid. I'm saving it. Thanks for posting, Robert.
I like Antoine. Looks like a real good enduro rider. Has he rode in the ISDE or Erzaberg or Romanics? Too bad he's riding for KTM now.
Dave

Meo just Overalled the 2013 ISDE (winning the E3 class as well) on a 300 2T Team Farioli KTM, and brought CH Racing Factory Husqvarna 2 World Championships on the 250/310 platform. The guy is legit, the guy is a crowd pleaser. He is not an extreme enduro guy, comes from pure MX background.

Cool, I'm looking over the 2013 ISDE site now.

Hey Robert,
I noticed you posted some links about Airoh helmets. Are you using one? I'm using a Vemar right now, great helmet. But I might try Airoh.
The Italian fit works for me.
Dave

He can ride, for sure. Seems he puts his feet out more on the orange bikes then he did on the HVA bikes. In these clips he looks more is sync with the Husqvarna's. Must be that magic Italian handling. Had he ever had to push a HVA bike on a race course?
