• Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

Another great ride in the PNW

Ben...that was hilarious.

I love what Jake says shortly after arriving at the top following you.

"Not following you up hills anymore."

Classic.

Kelly, the reason you're not sore is because you kept properly hydrated. I believe it was Mountain Dew Code Red, the official sports drink for SW Washington. Ha.

Jake. Yes you were "that guy." I'm glad I got to witness your moment of shame. :applause: I'm more even more glad for Kerry's lengthy lock up cable and unknowing generosity. Without his petrol we would have had to cut our loop short or do some pesky tank transfers. Thanks Kerry.

I believe this video is much more entertaining. Feel my wrath!

which is what Ben and I kept saying to Jake when he was on the 125. We all ate a lot of mud that day. :D It was that loamy tacky mud that took $5 at the car wash to remove 80% of. I bet I literally had 30 pounds of mud on my bike.

Mountain dew with a mud chaser ....yum. Good stuff, I'm just bummed I missed you guys. I love getting beat and humiliated by those guys ,and I always learn some new trails as a bonus. Jake how you liking that 310 ? Sounds more tractorlike.Kerry

I think if we would have had one more husky there the ktm guys may have gotten a bit nervous being outnumbered and all. :D

The 300 is awesome. It may have sounded tractor like because I was ridding two gears high trying to save gas in most of thet video's.:busted: It really rips.

Later,
