• Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

You guys watching any of these races end to end? These races seem kind of short to me. You might notice that it seems more than 1 guy is charging lap 1 now ... Just like RV2 has been doing to them for 2 yrs now?

Part 1 here... I can't find an entire race in one sequence.

Watch Stew do the whip at the finish line, looked like he almost fell off the bike ... He reverted back to his Hollywood yrs for this one.

You might have also noticed how the current Champ is schooling some on how to win another championship ... Two weeks back he followed 2 riders while catching them on ~any lap, taking a look at them, showing a wheel maybe, then giving them room so in case they crash or whatever, he will not be taken out. Then coasted to the finish.

This race, he watched Stew who is > 20 points behind him. Zero reason to pass him at this point in the season ... Again, the Champ just followed, showed him a wheel a few times and left plenty of room for Stew to crash and not take him out with him ... We do remember Stews' racing history, right?

I really liked AS29 getting the holeshot and a few calls during the race ...

Part 3 ... Here's the interviews ... RD94 is sounding like he is gonna be in this till the end ...We all know RD5 was only the second person to EVER win a SX championship as a rookie ... I'd have to have some big odds to bet any money on a rookie, but with all his history racing on the world stage, he'll need some luck, but this guy might can be there at the end ...

Weimer and Grant sat out this race due to injuries (I think)
