• Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

The 100s MC Nat H&H 2015 Season Finale

If you want a real challenge, compete and complete/finish this event.

Well I am signed up/ pre entered,
last one I did was this event in 2013 on the Ajax sponsored ride Italian Husky "CR" WR300 ZipTy Racing special with full Ohlins suspension.
Hope my new Austrian Husky TE300 feels as good as John's Italian 2T Tractor.

Will for sure pit with the C&D Cycles crew , so far it looks like about 6 riders of various skill levels will be under the San Diego C&D cycles banner/ez-up.

Fun stuff Steve G is P3 with 64 pts, Frank Z is P4 with 62 pts both in 40B class , so there is a great friendly bragging rights contest up for grabs to get Nat 40B 3rd place for the 2015 season.

Glad to hear it Robert! I'm working the race and have been loop scouting with John. Make sure to drop by the 100s area and say hey. We'll be out there fine tuning, marking, and preparing for the next three weekends. Your gonna love it! If you like rocks that is...

OK here is the scoop There is a National Hare Scramble on Saturday Then on Sunday there is a 100 mile National Hare and Hound. So there is something for everyone. I personally have done all the National this year and my points leave me as National # 3 for 2016 Even if I won the 100s National my overall standing would not change SOOOOOOOOOOO What better then to go out to Luceren for 5 week ends and look, scout ,more rocks, tie ribbon mark course tie more ribbon
you get the point. I have along with some very hard working 100s have worked very hard to make Rd 8 the best. Now all you have to do is show up and have fun. Don't sit there and say I should have done it life is short and it will leave you in the dust. Come on out and show you can do it. If you need pit help the 100s will pit you and if you break down will come get your sorry broke down as out of the desert So now what you going to do Hope to see you there John
I will post another update on Monday after a little more scouting is finished

I repeat from experience at this and other H&Hs Ive done since 08.

if you want a real challenge, compete and complete/finish this event. It will test you and your machine, from open sandy washes to rock filled gullies to steeeep rocky downhills to steep rocky uphills it will be a real leg burner. Great stuff and a little bit of everything except trees!! test your skills and stamina for sure

Come on out and show you can do it. If you need pit help the 100s will pit you and if you break down will come get your sorry broke down as out of the desert So now what you going to do Hope to see you there John

Can you tell me more about 100's pitting people ??

The 100s offer guest pit services for riders that don't have a club affiliation. If you're racing for the first time and don't have a club, even if you're just racing one loop, it's a very smart idea to guest pit with a club. That way you have a group that's there to make sure you've finished the race. In case you don't show up, there's a good chance the club sweep team or rescue 3 can find you in case of mechanical break down or injury.

There are other clubs that offer this service to first time racers or those who might be racing this type of race for the first time. The idea is don't race across the desert without registering with a club.

So you have been told now are you coming Look what happen to Huskynoobee we talked him into coming to a race and now he has a addition of which there is only one cure more racing more racing Ask Robert he has the same addition
Come to the race and see for yourself

I don't know, it's all in how the addiction presents itself. I now have three new rear and two new front tires, spare wheels, pipes, plastics, suspension parts and other things littering my garage. Never worried about having that much spare stuff when I was play riding.

I'll be there. This will be my first race as a Master (formerly Super Senior class) - was toying with the idea of still entering as a Mag but figured I could use the points to get a better number for next year. I feel weird though, this will be my first D37 race ever doing only one loop. Should be fun in any case as I enjoy Nationals. I'll just help the my club (Vikings) pit for the two loopers after I get in.

I belong to a Small D37 Enduro club. I am chasing D37 enduro points, at Enduros we have time in between loops to gas up so need for any pit help. I have been racing D37 for awhile I understand the need for club membership.

I have done nationals before. If I win a trophy this time I hope its better then the pee-wee soccer participation one I got last time

And the Video looks good fun trails
