• Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

I have hook up with a guy here in Mount Isa that like to go for a after work ride, at first I didn't take a camera with me, but with the country looking so good I had take some shots. This shot was on a rainy day in the wet season, the guys wanted to turn around but I convince them to ride through. The other day I was talking to the guy at the bike told me they cancelled motor X because it had been raining the day before??????

One night we are going to have a sunset BBQ on this rock

When I told my mate that I was going to work in Mount Isa they said why are you going to that S/hole of a place. Every time I go out riding I have to stop myself from riding to have a look at the view, even though I love the riding I stop and have a look. All I have to do is put my gear on and hop on my bike and ride 5 minutes I'm out on the trails, and I think of my mates stuck in Melbourne and all that traffic:lol:

Awesome. Safari tank looks good with the graphics on it it looks much smaller. Very nice. I see you have my rear disk guard, I love seeing my stuff all over the world. Bike looks great, area looks fun, i would say your mates are wrong, you are in paradise. Cool.

Wow...beautiful scenery! I dig the shot of the wheelie on the rock!
That rock was huge! At the moment it is so green around this place, here is a place that we came across one time riding, but on this day I was in my 4x4 with my wife
