• Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

After Market Turn Signal

Just found out yesterday that the left front turn signal of my TE630 is broken... About two weeks ago, the rear left turn signal was broken.I ordered replacement part but it's not arrived yet and currently I use a splint and black gaffer tape to hold the turn signal together.

Before I order the front one, is there after market turn signal for TE 630?
There's a guy at ADVrider forum that is going to run a production of turn signals for DS bike (Tuff Lites is the name) but it's not going to be available until at least June.

So is there any after arket turn signal taht you recommend?

Replaced turn signals on my 449 recently, just bought some $30 over the counter LED ones from a Honda shop, blinkers are fairly generic especially for DS bikes, these blinkers work fine however if you go from a halogen light > led, it will most likely blink a bit faster. No biggie for me.

These are what I have on my 630, $30 a pair, and paid ~$20 for the solid state LED flasher relay from SICASS
My front signals are from ZETA, integrated into the handguards.

Harder to break them when they're not on stalks...

Thank you Flynn, Kermit_7.62 and RDTCU.

RDTCU that rear signal looks great. There will be no chance of breaking it. I broke the rear one when I was getting on the bike and my right foot didn't go high enough to clear the seat and the turn signal, it hit the turn signal and broke it.

I think I'm gonna get a pair, and use the rear right turn signal as a replacement for the front left turn signal, I see that they have the same part number. The rear left also has the same part number as the right front one.
