• Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

Adam Cianciarulo Out For 3-4 Months With Shoulder Surgery

I'm actually glad cianciarilo decided to sit out and get his shoulder fixed. He's young and has time to make another championship run. Racerx says tomac and canard will be back for St. Louis

The kid was making it exciting, that's for sure. Here's hoping he is back at it so I can watch him live at Washougal in July !!

This article says AC46 hurt that shoulder over a yr ago ... So he has history here ... Probably will still have issues down the road with it through the yrs.

You gotta be a stud, lucky, and a great rider in better-than-average shape, with a better-than-average-body to even ride all these races... Very very few ever get to be even a one-time champion in either series(MX SX).

That's to bad, hope he takes the time to heal up all the way before trying to make a come back. He looked like he could be one of the next great riders.

yeah they talked about this during the race and how when you pop it in and out so EZ it is surgery time.

That goes for most joints....I know my knee was a victim of that.....end up with ligament replacement.

When I saw AC46's arm get popped back into place I kinda knew he was gonna need some work.

He's young and will bounce back but, ya, what a season. It's like we're watching the walking wounded on parade.

The "upside" (for lack of a better term) is this opens the door for some parody in that other guys who have just been 1, 2 or 3 off the podium could take advantage.
