As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.
When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.
Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.
Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.
Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.
Thanks for your patience and support!
Hey I work in the media and I can tell you guys that no reporters ever ever put spin on a story, misinform the public with half truths, or allow big business or government to hold any sway whatsoever with the news they choose to report.

They will not use the 690 engine because it is too high tech and expensive too make and you don't need 70HP to dominate the field of affordable road worthy[read, "all day"] dual sports.
The 125 and 200 Duke engines use same cases with different bore and stroke, the 390 engine weighs 20lbs more because of larger cases designed for more power. I think it is safe to assume that they built the cases for two engine sizes as with the smaller sizes. Easy to see 55HP.
But the trick will be to come up with a smooth vibration free engine that is tractable and exciting like the TR650, no easy feat.
Just think about how good a two stroke would be with CST ? I would like someone to explain why they feel the CST is inferior to the other way

What is C1? Unfamiliar with the term.c1 drivers are the craziest ever. you can ride them with your car drivers license, so most c1 riders never learnt to ride a motorbike. plus, the "chassis" sort of makes them riders feel invincible.
i have seen c1 drivers prposedly get themselves into situations on the autobahn that NO motorcycle rider would ever want to experience.
the appropriate name for the c1 would have been "rex cramer, danger seeker".

Getting to the front sprocket is a piece of cake. Easier than many conventional bikes and you get to grease the pivot while you are there.as long as I can get to that front sprocket.
