• Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

Well,Dalton's Husky is running great and it's been up front a lot as He won every moto
He enter to qualified and realy show that the TC250 is a bike up to the mark, but with racing
You need a good bike,a good rider and some luck , the first final race in Savannah,Ga.
Dalton was 4th off the line and went to pass for 3rd but got push off His line and was devastating
as They line up like a freight train and end up 8th.
day 2 at Daytona,He had fastest laptime and We were planning to make up for the first day,
He pulled away in the heat race and got first gate pick for the final, being 2nd of the line and
was working on a pass for the lead His front end wash off on the Daytona slippery track and
the bad luck strike again and went down
He caused a red flag and restart from the third row were He realy showed skill after passing 8 riders
on the outside deep dirt on the first lap,at least He regain some points finishing 4th @ Daytona int.spdwy.
day 3 went well and He had His first podium finish for 2nd.
day 4 at the big 1/2 mile car track We enter the race 3rd in the standing and He was fast
and won the moto again with more bikes because of vintages National on the program the
high speed banked car track realy got rough and after two laps running 2nd I saw Him
pulling off the race line and slowed down and for the first time ever just give up,
what the hell happen? I ask...I just almost got throwed off the bike and then got head shake
twice I don't want nothing to do with this, well I guess it was just a smart move when You're
only 74 pounds going 90 miles an hour,it got realy rough indeed!
it did cost a National series podium finish but He's back at middle school with good memories.
with racing there is always another race! it was great to show off with the Husky brand.

Does this mean he's giving up racing entirely?
hell no,but it is the second year that We're going to Volusia speedway in Barberville,Fl. and it's the worst
race track He ever raced on,We just don't care for it,hope They won't bring it back next year,
I guess They don't care and They don't try to groom it,I seen some weaked crash there,it realy sucks
just a smart move,if it's not fun it just don't worth it to get hurt.
