• Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

A heads up from 7602.

Hey husky heads just giving a heads up that things at 7602 are going to be moving a little behind schedule for the next couple weeks. I took a good spill at a race a week ago and broke a wrist. Been in and out of the docs office last week and will be a good part of this week as well. I'm bringing in some help to hopefully keep going as well as possible but things are still going to be slower than normal. So if it takes me a little while to respond to calls, pm's and emails I am sorry. I apologize if this causes anyone any inconvenience. Thanks.

I sprained both of mine, the left really bad about 3 weeks ago at the Watermelon 50 HS. Just got back on the bike today, so I feel your pain. Take it easy and heal up.

If you cut off your ear the price of your art work might go up but I don't think the broken wrist will help you much.

Thanks for the well wishes guys. I'll keep the ear thing in mind if things ever get really slow.

Arrrghhh! I'm sorry to hear about your wrist, Colo moto :(
I've broken my wrist twice and it was a huge bummer both times. At least you don't have to put on a bra with one hand  (well, I'm assuming you don't...:excuseme:...:D)
I hope you heal up quickly and completely! Be sure and post up photos if you get any gnarly hardware in there :)
