• Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

a couple months back FE350S and TE300

I feel like I just watched some of my own video. It's amazing riding with a truly fast guy. Just when you think you're on a good pace and keeping up, then they just disappear on ya. You had a really good pace going in that, not slacking at all.

Just when you think you might catch em, you do, but it is because they decide to wait for you.

Humbling and motivating all at the same time.

Wow snow in May.
Its all in the title......."a few months back"

Also need to give credit to CRF450R rider former WORCS Pro Dax from early 2000s, when Ty was in the WORCS game.
That FE350S is the DynoJet Research/ZipTy Racing 1st tuning article of test R&D and thing flat rips (Andy compliments that machine as well). It was the 3 of us rippin' round the trails in the high dez (me with my silly hoots!!).

Both of them are faster than I. CRF450R rider is coming back out of his self imposed exile and is really the fastest among our crew, when he gets himself back in some saddle time, none of us have anything for him, he was a solid MX pro (SoCal) as well as a top 10-15 WORCS Pro in the early 2000s and WORCS A champ (before going to the Pro class) and OA podium winner in Tecate HS. The list of racers that he's lined up with is a who's who of top tier guys. (I sucks to be the second tier privateer....racing the top tier guys..)
FE350S rider was top SETRA racer and ISDE vet from the early mid 90s.

I don't think it sucks to be the slow guy. When I can catch those guys and watch their techniques it turns into a training session. Riding with Ty and another part time ZTR guy and former pro 250 desert racer just made me realize I've got more to aspire to. Applying what I absorbed from that session really paid off at my last Hare n Hound.
