• Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

Was really looking for a 2016 125/150 but they were a little out of my price range. Found an awesome deal on this bike and I'm really just happy to have a bike again. Only ridden up and down the atreet so far but it is fast as hell lol. Can't wait to see how it stacks up to my old (italian) te250 and txc449! I spent a couple hours on a clapped out 98 ktm 200 and that's all my 2st experience, really excited :)

Oh and supermoto wheels are on the way! :)

Sweet looking ride! But, supermoto.........?

Yes, even some supermoto riders don't care for valves lol. Actually quite a few in my series and a couple 125 guys are going to try the last round. I do hare scrambles and gp racing if it makes you feel better :)

It's a 14 tc250. Know it would kill the old te250, just more the difference in riding a 2st. Just riding up and down the street I know it's stupid fast. Should be fun but a 150 is next seasons goal, don't tell my wufe but i plan to keep this one too lol

I want the same thing for mine, except gold wheels kinda similar to the old husky wheels. Not yellow gold
Was thinking the same thing! Would be really cool! Toxic Moto Racing was awesome to deal with, he's a member here and runs the utah sm series. Gave me a whole class on wheels lol. In the end, these are the cheapest so that was all I cared about for now :)

Would like to eventually get red graphics and a metal tank I can polish :)

About the same, these are 999 without the big rotor and adaptor. Warp 9 has a pretty long wait list from what I've heard. They say 2 weeks but they're quite a bit more backed up then that. Dubya was here in about a week

Do you think you need a sumo front fender? I see RMATV has an Acerbis one but I'm skeptical on fitment on the 2014 models.

Oops sorry, read that again. Front fender doesn't hve the supermoto look so I'm trimming this one and buying new plastics. Don't think this one would be an issue it's a much smaller diameter wheel.

Acerbis front fender worked great on my wr250x when I broke mine. It's universal if I remember right and required a little work but nothing big

Well I put the dirt wheels back on for my first real ride today. Have to admit, the first half hour I felt like a made a mistake. Haven't ridden in about a year so that didn't help :)

This thing is really fun! It is without a doubt a race bike and at times difficult to handle in the mountains today. Always cover the clutch because it will shoot out from under you quickly lol. Some really big differences coming from a 4st. May need a 150 as a second bike to balance this thing out lol
