  • Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

125-200cc '98 Husqvarna 360wr

What are you after big bill, I just called up my local dealer to get a bugger of a rare bearing 17,40,8mm they had them off the shelf. No bearing company I tried had them....

Conrod were available a couple years back. There's a KTM rod that fits.
Most other parts apart from plastics are interchangeable.

Just thinking ahead if I buy it. If I can't find parts I'm stuck. These graphics are pretty. My 98 250wr was a babe magnet.

the graphics and original plastic are very tough to find..
repro plastic is available from dc, i havent tried any.
most everything else is available.

i cant remember if the 98 year has the earlier or later porting. around that time it changed to where it lost some top end and gained bottom ive heard. my 95 rips everywhere hard with a lectron and pipe. a pipe is a huge help on these..

Could be on the cusp of port change as I thought that happend in 98, so it may be either.
The earlier ports definitely pull for longer.

Not yet thinking about it.

When I had my '98 Husqvarna 250wr street legal while slowing down for a red light. I had a guy cut me off on a Harley. He snarls at me sorry pal. I stayed on the right side of the road at the light. As the light turned green I poured it on and as I passed him I said see ya pal. I just blew the Harley away. He had no chance at all. The porting seemed like a cr porting. As you took off as I heard the popcorn noise increase in the pipe it as a warning the front wheel was coming up next.

That's about right.
Anything under 70kph 2strokes will win in most cases.
Took 02 360 on motorway that's 70mph in middle lane overtaking traffic and the looks i got. A dirt bike on the high way!?! Kids i had thumbs up, drivers were scowling. I was praying to the 2smoke god i got to the next junction. Lol it was worth the wear just for that. Lol

I was flying on the highway on my '99 TE610e I was passing cars. The speed didn't bother me it's the worry about a cross wind as I come out of the hills into the open flat highway. The bike is light.

I hit a very strong cross wind once on my Suzuki 1200 bandit. It blew me from the right lane to the left shoulder. I was going too fast. I put all my weight on the left peg and it stopped the slide. Coming out of a hill on the right side and leaning in the curve the strong cross wind just grabbed and pushed me. The body English and pegs work just like a dirtbike. Quick thinking could save your life.
