I just bought a 630 and sometimes its hard to start, thought the battery was low.
I charged the battery and it seems OK, sometimes it will fire right up sometimes it will just crank and crank and eventually start.
Today it was hard to start but after a few trys it started and I then ran it 25 miles, stoped to get gas and then it wouldn't restart. Gave up on it called wife to bring the trailer, 30 minutes later when she arrived I hit the starter and it fired up? Shut it off to get ramps and tiedowns out then it wouldn't start again.
WTF and Ideas? Hard to start on and off the past few weeks.

Called Husqvarna, after discussing the problem, Husky told me to take it to the closest dealer and have it checked out, if it was husky defect warranty would cover it, a 2011 with 450 miles! After calling all local dealers found 1 who could look at in 4-6 weeks.
9/5/12
Dropped bike off at the dealer today, dealer had bike apart at least 2 weeks now. The dealer found something inside was put together wrong had busted and ground the stator up. Metal shavings all thru
the engine now. Not sending the signal to spark and fuel correctly.
9/24/12
I know big bike shows are going on now but WTF, can't return a call!?! Husky apparently
denied warranty, but couldn't even call to let me know. Husky is blaming dealer who
did earlier repairs under warranty.
Still waiting on Husky to step up!!
After calling back a few times got a receptionist who said I was to call a gentleman at
BMW.
10/8/12
Called BMW and after explaining the problem, he thought it was ridiculous that a 2011 would need an engine and Husky would deny warranty.
Now it's in the hands of BMW, wonder if they stand up and make Husky take responsibility.
10/26/12
BMW officially denied warranty. Anthony at BMW says it isn't Huskys fault, it is the dealers fault who worked on it last. He basically just repeated what Husky said.
Husky/BMW/ dealer who has the bike apart all agree its not a manufactuer defect!
I again contacted the oringinal dealer and told him Husky/BMW officially denied the warranty claim and it was back to them to handle. Dealers carry insurance to cover things like this and now hopefully they will step up and submit a claim to get it fixed.
I said if I didn't hear back witin the week I would call again on 11/2/12.
11/15/2012
It's been almost 2 weeks since I sent pics and estimate to the dealer, haven't heard back from them yet, shouldn't take that long to notify the insurance company.
I'll have to call tomorrow and if no progress is made, I'll have to get the court involved.
11/30/12
My deadline is today for the dealer to pay for their screw up, I haven't got a call or email since.
1st thing Mon am I'll be contacting the magistrate to light a fire under MFIs butt.
