    As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

    When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

    Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

    Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

    Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

630 FMF exhaust, $270?

I had 2 messages on my answering machine from Chaparral when I got home from work. The first one said that FMF was discontinuing this exhaust, Chaparral wasn't going to get any more and they were going to credit my account. The second message was just shortly afterwards, and she said that the exhaust wasn't being discontinued, it was just on back order until Dec. 1.
 
Bugger, too slow again. Havent been on CH for a few days and have missed this.
Just tried to find it on their web site and looks like all the Husqvarna listings are gone.

Have emailed them just in case, but not holding out much hope.:banghead:
 
I called them back and explained to them that FMF told me they were not discontinuing the exhaust. They said they now will get them mid month from FMF (Nov) and that they would honor the price.They had to redo the order but would not give me the 10% promo discount. If you have received the cancellation call I would call them back and place another order.
 
Looks like the sale is over. We even lost Husky for the drop down selection menu. Hope everyone that was looking or even thinking of an exhaust got in on the action! Now if all the ones backorder show up that would be great.

Just had a letter from Chapparal also saying that the part has been disscontinued and my order has been cancelled. Will try giving them a call and see how i get on.:banghead:

I suspect i may not get the same positive response being an international customer.:thumbsdown:
 
Phoned Chapparal this morning but no luck.
After i told them that FMF had said that the muffler was not disscontinued, chapparal said they would resend the order but not at the discounted price.:thumbsdown:

New price would be $540.00.

Looks like its back to ebay then :cry:
 
Still waiting for mine. I talked to customer serviced today, and was told end of the month. Still getting it for the sale price, but since I used PayPal, they've had my money since Oct. 23rd. That may be a good thing, because if I had used a credit card, I was told that they don't charge until the item ships, and they might've just cancelled the order. I'll just have to be patient a little ( I hope) longer.
 
So, 2 days after I talk to customer service at Chaparral and was told that the exhaust was back ordered until the end of December, the Big Brown Truck shows up with a box with 'FMF' all over it. Glad to finally have it, but I've got to shake my head over Chaparral's online sales. Oh, well, got a killer deal in the end.

The FMF is available. You can get them from FMF direct but without the substantial discount some of us lucked out with through Chaparral.
 
I am glad some people got in on this deal, 5 or 6 TE/SM 630 owners maybe? Who doesn't prefer to support the fine dealers/sponsers here at CH, but at $270 it was a no brainer. Just in time for Christmas for some. :cheers:
