• Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

610 guys - body panels

As some of us have found out, some of the plastics for our beloved 610's are no longer available.

In the near future, a friend will be making carbon fiber tank and radiator shrouds for me, and I'm considering having him make a headlamp mask for me as well.

We don't know what it's going to cost at this moment, but is anyone else interested in this? He's willing and interested in a group buy kind of a deal. Even if nobody is willing to commit, I'll probably have him make three sets, they'll be posted for sale in the BMP section.

What parts are no longer available?
Ive been waiting ages for a lower radiator shroud thats supposedly on back-order.
Carbon fibre replacement plastics are a great idea

Well the radiator shrouds have been on backorder for months, with no ETA furnished by the mothership.

Tank shrouds are of course easy enough to get, but I reckon the clock is ticking on those.

For shrouds to fit a 5 gallon IMS tank, that's doable, but we'd have to have one here to use as a pattern, and we don't. I'm pretty much talking about OEM replacement parts...

I would be interested. Are you going to have all the panels made or only the no longer available ones??
