  • Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

Been talking about it for a little while, Finally got round to Putting 1 in the Shed. Had A WR300 for the last 16mths & has been pretty much Faultless, But Kicking bikes gets a bit old rather quick. I decided to get me one of them Flash Button Thingys.
I could have easily Bought another WR 300, but not much point, as its no different to my 2010 model. I might switch back to 2T in 2013 when the Massively updated New 2Ts are out(Well Rumoured to be the year).

So I picked up a 2011 TE511 this arvo for a song. Its actually Transmoto ex Test bike(long term). Had stuff all Ks on it & a little bit of Fruit came with it. I have added
Hand guards
Force radiator guards
P3 Header/Can/Bash carbon guards
Custom Sticker Kit(my own design)
Custom Suspension
Front Disc Guard
Motosports Steering Dampener

After My Petty cash draw got totally raped(Undie Draw), I will add more Bling in the New Year.
I would like also to Thank Justin & Simone from Trooper Lus for the Sizzling Deal they did for me & can't recommend them enough if your after a new bike or Service deal.

Any how enough dribble, here it is

Cant wait for the test ride when you get up to Coffs Croc. Also we have a nice bog hole waiting for the new bike too:D:D

Sweet looking bike! I like the grafix kit. Why does the tail look a little off? It looks like the taillight is quite a bit right of the rear tire.

I think its just the camera, doesn't look like that looking at it

Hi Croc,
Sweet looking 511 mate.
It's got most of the good bits already added.
I'd recommend the JD 6X Tuner, I just put one on my 449 and holy sh!t does it work well.
How do you like the Motosportz steering damper?
Glenn

G'day Croc. looks greats. what tyres are on it? and I noticed the TTR110?? maybe?? has that had some work. My son is on a '10TTR110 and wringing the neck off it, looking for more grunt.

Dampener is good, only thing I can fault is you can't turn it off....Well not that I can see

I am running a Pirelli MX extra on the front, with a Motoz Tractionater on the rear. That will change to a Pirelli as well once its worn. That is my sons stock standard TTR 125

Man, last time i saw something like that was on my 250 last year after flopping onto a log. Nothing a baseball bat couldn't straighten :) I bet that thing RIPS!

You'll fall in love with this after the WR, I had mine now for about two months traded a TE630 for it. At first I was a little worried that it would have the same grunt the TE630 delivered, boy was I wrong... given it lighter I think it goes a little hard and it much easier to throw around in the bush. The fuel tank could be a little larger, there just not the fuel range to go adventure riding I am getting around 110-120Km at a pinch. Enjoy.

I have absolutely no idea why this thread is in the Dealer Kudos.

Dealer Kudos -> 4st.

Lee - I took the link to your ended ebay auction out, cause it was no longer active, and you already have an ad in the Classifieds.
