  • Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

510 stroker kit

hi all, is there a stroker kit out there that can stroke a 510 to a 530cc a guy from a local forum in Australia, he was thinking about fitting one to his bike but when I asked him about it he gave me the bum steer so do they exits? and if so where do you get them from?

The kit is a 530 kit, but it is a bigger bore not a stroke increase, which make it easier (do not have to split the cases) and cheaper to do. Motosportz has them, just send kelly an email because it is not on the website.

hi there rancher1, yeah I already have the 530 big bore kit so the money has already been spent there and I already have my engine pulled out and split down because i'm going to rebuild the bottom end thats why if a strocker kit exits than I want it!

The 510 is already a stroked 450 so you are really chasing diminishing returns trying to stroke even more.

If you are set at burning cash for your Husky, go for the 530RR head kit and maybe some Ti con-rods. It will add power up top, but I don't see how you can get much more stroke out.

So just install this kit and it works over there EFi system, yes I have a PC Autotune V + box. What else should be taken into account. cluth ETC.
