    As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

    When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

    Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

    Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

    Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

449/511 Graphics templates

Does anyone know where I could find a template (preferrably in .eps format) for graphics to fit an SMR 449/511 (w- TC front number plate)? A mate has the machinery but not the templates as MX graphics aren't part of his usual line of business :)
 
I think I remember stumbling across a site selling the templates for the TE or TC for 25GBP or something like that, nothing for the SMR specifically, haven't looked since.
 
I was able to find 14 sets of images I can make templates from. I'm not paying $40 for templates, F-that.
 
Ta for the hard work Tinken... I have the time to try it, but no printer to print out a mock up!

That's the actual image. If you open my eps file, it has layers. You can slide your graphics between the layers and only the upper cutout will show.
 
Cam thats going to look sick. and Tinken thats for the templates im going to see what i can do with them ....
 
i noticed the files are sized pretty small 5.7in x 5.1in for the whole file. do you know how large it has to be to fit the bikes?
 
do you know what the image size is supposed to be to fit the bikes?

also is it vectorized already to send to a printer?
 
I don't know the correct size, you will have to measure one of the graphics and scale it between guidelines. It is not vector, Live Trace in illustrator will convert it.
