• Hi everyone,

    As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

    When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

    Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

    Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

    Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

It was pretty rainy, but seemed to not be too muddy.

That's awesome.. I got 15th in the C250 class.. lol.
I definitely gotta work on my endurance.. halfway through the first Lap I got wicked arm pump and had to slow down but I still finished the race. I can't wait for the South Mountain Hare Scramble in Connecticut this weekend hopefully I can do better without the rain.0722181623_HDR_Film4-1.jpg

I put the new Bridgestones to the ultimate test. I put an M59 up front and a Battlecross X30 on the rear and it totally transformed my bike if anyone has a 19in rear rim I definitely recommend it.

Agree with the x30 on a 19 inch rim. Best tyre I’ve tried on the 150 so far. The fronts are great too.
Love seeing a dirty bike, well done on your 3rd placing!

This seasons look, I haven't stuck the numbers on yet (went from 907 to 407 due to race series). Also swapped the crap Xplr48's for a set of revalved CC's forks from a 2013 KTM 250 XC. Much Much Much better!!!

300 with KYB inserts, husaberg rims, seat comforts seat, enduro engineering bars, husky powerparts pipe with akro muffler, SX CDI and mod head she is an awesome bike and runs really well and is also my DS bike on a few occasions when i get the calling.

With my wolfman saddle bags and top bag i can hold up to 18 litres of fuel and the basics for an over night camping trip with around 250 km range, i just run 14/50 with a large rear tire on my other rims, that means all day cruising at 100km is not a problem, the seat and bars take allot of the vibes away just about the 2 best mods on this bike.

Last year i was the only 2 stroke on a DS ride, all the guys could not believe the range and how well the bike went, did around 900 kms over 2 days , but ST is were i luv it the most

Thanks bike pilot! The picture doesn’t do justice to how high up I was. The rocks in the pic are just a small sample of what riding around the area I live in looks like haha
