As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.
When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.
Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.
Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.
Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.
Thanks for your patience and support!
To every contract or agreement there are always ways to break it. Unless the Italians are involved at this point until all this crap gets hammered out I am a little skeptical and if I were killing a cub I would do so and make parts scarce for the cub I was getting rid of. I would want to promote the new wave of junk I was promoting AKA Red and white KTM/Husky's And please if you buy a 2014 Husky KTM 200 and feel proud of yourself you better rethink what you just did!!! Really lets see what happens.................... Way to much drama for the true information available at this time!Part of the agreement was to provide parts for ten years. So parts will be available.
My dealer said he just ordered more husky's than he has every orderd before,to get these discounts that BMW was starting to charge storage on these bike's at there warehouse so it was better to move these bike's than pay BMW storage.

Also, if youve ever tracked the incentive machinations of US trucks, its easy to see pricing swings of $5000 plus. Not to mention that weve seen Husky do similar clearance deals almost every year.

I went to the dealer today and they told me all new Huskys are getting 2500 $ off list. What he told me was some dealers are sending bikes back or refusing to take delivery of new bikes.
I was told that happened late yesterday afternoon. So today I could get a new 2013 cr125 for 4200 $.
He also told me Husky was shipping him bikes he didn't order. I almost fell over as I just got a new wr125 last month.
You have to remember the $2500 rebate was if the dealer ordered more inventory. HNA would price protect 1:1 the dealers but if a dealer had 20 bikes in stock and ordered in 10 more discounted bikes he would still have 10 that have no rebates on them at all. The dealer who actually stocks motorcycles get penalized when these deals come around.
