• Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

The Freeride is 201# dry?
I just looked at a dealer's website that I have communicated with in the past and see four variants of the freeride in 2015 but only one in 2016. I didn't see a weight there but note putting 2016 usa version is probably a clarification. 201.7 rounds off to 202. That is for a model with a -r on the end not sure what might actually be available.

I did notice sx and xc get rubber mounted handlebars.

Only one Freeride availible in US... 250 2T. 2 availible in other markets (250 2T, 350 4T). 3 variants of the E Ride electric Freeride, none are availible in US. US KTM site has always shown only one Freeride. Your dealer, must have pulled the info off International site.

Well this place is in West Virginia and has the website ktmparts.com. I think it is actually Appalachian off road motorcycles as a storefront. They show four variants, I didn't pursue it. Upon further examination two don't have a displacement. e-xc tricked me as I have an exc two stroke. http://www.ktm-parts.com/AOMC/category/SHOWKTM2015END

Apparently some brands can be kind of sloppy about non USA models on their dealer's websites. I found one that showed the Moto Minirilli engined te125 a few years ago and they wouldn't do email and just put me on hold for a phone call.
