• 4 Stroke Husqvarna Motorcycles Made In Austria - About 2014 & Newer
    FE = 4st Enduro & FC = 4st Cross

  • Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

FE/FC 2015 Husqvarna Pricing Announced

One thing that jumped out at me is a $700 difference between the FC 250 and 350, but a $1000 difference between the FE 250 and 350. It seems to me the price difference between the 250 and 350 ought to be consistent whether we're talking moto or enduro. A little gouging of the older, slower, wealthier enduro guys, maybe?

I know 2 dealers that just dropped Husky, in fact one is closing. They were being forced to carry MX models they know they will loose money on or just cant sell at all. Several KTM shops here stopped carrying KTMs as they were forced to do a bunch of stuff that ended in them loosing money on the brand. Interesting times. Great bikes I'm sure.

I knew when they bought Husky they would raise the prices of new bikes, but this is just way too much for me. I'm lucky my bike is only a few years old and I'll plan on riding it a few more years. After that I'd have to look elsewhere for a new bike.

2014 Husqvarna Motorcycles MSRP (USD) (2015 in brackets)
Motocross
TC 85 $5,399 ($5,499) +$100
TC 125 $6,549 ($6,649) +$100
TC 250 $7,249 ($7,349) +$100
FC 250 $8,049 ($8,149) +$100
FC 350 NA ($8,849) +$0
FC 450 $9,049 ($9149) +$100
Enduro
TE125 NA ($7649) +$0
TE 250 $8,349 ($8,449) +$100
TE 300 $8,549 ($8,649) +$100
FE 250 $8,649 ($8,649) +$0
FE 350 $9,549 ($9,649) +$100
FE 501 $9,899 ($9,949) +$100
FE250 stayed the same and if the FC350 hadn't come, the FC250 wouldn't have gone up $100. Little orphan bikes.... Overall it could of been worse. You guys can knee jerk b!tch all you want!:oldman:

Who buys bikes at MSRP anyway. I'd just wait for factory rebates at the end of the year :). No doubt they're expensive, KTM has always been more expensive but heck all of them are. TC250 is still a steal :)

I don't think the price is that far out of the ball park... I mean look what you get?

I have been riding/racing Japanese Moto bikes off-road for years, and by the time I would get one converted to off-road it would have well over 2k into it, you add that to MSRP ( which we all know very few people pay so it's all relative) and you are looking at KTM/HUSKY price points.

I know I am stoked to get my hands one a new husqvarna

I think a leftover FC 450 may be what I need for the ice this year but I doubt they will have any incentives like the 1000 off the KTMs are doing.

You think those are stupid prices, imagine the prices of the "S" models with plates :/

FE350 has been pimped on the cover of every dirt mag as "best bike in the world." In light of that, if you were building/selling them, wouldn't you charge more for them too?

Huskies are pimped everywhere on the web now ... Husky is in the SP world now so set your sights accordingly :0) ... SP business model (ktm and huskies) is set in the upper side of the price scale... The interesting part here would be his butter (margins).

Bikes are worth what people will pay. These are top of the line bikes with top of the line components and results. They are selling like crazy here in the states so the price point must be right. I've ridden a few of the KTM based huskys now, all good bikes as far as I am concerned. Its what the market will support. Nothing wrong with that. SP is in it to make money and seems to be doing it right. Cant fault that.
